Copilot example prompts

Questions and requests that work well in Copilot, grouped by task, and what Copilot does with each

2 min readUpdated 26 September 2026

Write to Copilot the way you would to a colleague. Specific questions get specific answers. These examples all use things Copilot can actually do.

Understand your pipeline

  • "Which leads need attention?"
  • "Summarise this lead and recommend the next action." (open the lead first)
  • "Why is this lead graded C? What is missing from its score?"
  • "Can I contact this lead on WhatsApp? If not, why not?"
  • "Show me my qualified leads."
  • "Are there any possible duplicate leads waiting for a decision?"

Performance

  • "Summarise my analytics for the last 30 days."
  • "Show me the funnel from new lead to won for this month."
  • "How are my campaigns performing?"
  • "How much AI have we used this month against our limit?"

Prospects and sourcing

  • "Show prospects graded A that are waiting for review."
  • "What evidence is behind this prospect's score?"
  • "Approve this prospect for outreach." (only once its contactability is confirmed)

Doing things

  • "Assign this lead to Sam and add a note that they prefer email."
  • "Mark this lead as qualified."
  • "Draft a reply to this lead offering a call next week." Copilot writes a draft for you to review; it does not send it.
  • "Pause the reactivation campaign for dormant 2025 leads." Copilot asks you to confirm first.
  • "Create a sourcing agent for my approved Manchester agencies plan, 20 prospects a day." The agent is saved as a draft.
  • "Start that agent." Copilot asks you to confirm, because a running agent spends money.

Your workspace

  • "What does ClientTurn know about my business?"
  • "What should I set up first?"
  • "Which connections need attention?"
  • "What qualification questions do we ask?"
  • "Raise a support ticket: bookings from Calendly are not appearing."

Things Copilot will decline

Copilot will explain rather than act if you ask it to send a message, launch a campaign, suppress or erase a person, export their data, or delete an agent. See Using Copilot.

Tips

  • Open the relevant lead, prospect or campaign first, then ask about "this".
  • Ask it to explain before it acts: "What would happen if I archived these?"
  • Use the Actions tab to see everything it can do for your role.
